Overview

MODULAR A TopDeck Car Park consists of a series of standard or bespoke modules in a carefully optimised layout that maximises the potential for your site. In theory there is no minimum or maximum number of parking spaces in a TopDeck Car Park but typically they are between 70 and 700 spaces. Standard modules are 16 metres long comprising two opposing parking bays at 2.4 m x 4.8 m separated by a 6 m access way.

SPEED-BUILD TECHNOLOGY TopDeck Car Parks have been designed incorporating many examples of Speed-Build Technology to enable installation to take days not months.

  • Modular design - for fast, consistent erection.
  • No Foundations - if site conditions are suitable.
  • Screw Pile Foundations - for rapid installation if foundations are required.
  • Pre-Finished Anti-Skid Decks - for rapid commissioning and a quick handover.
  • Automatic Lane Markings - rubber seals between modules visually delineate parking bays. Access lanes identified by colour of deck coating.
  • No Wet Trades On Site - to save drying times and to avoid weather dependency.
  • Plug & Play Electrics - for fast installation of accessories such as lighting and CCTV.
  • Integral Safety Barriers - pre-fitted and independently tested to BS6399.
  • Modular Ramps and Stairs - for rapid attachment to parking modules.
  • Optional Speed-Build Cladding - where required.

WATER RESISTANT Unlike other systems, TopDeck utilises TriflexTM anti-skid surfacing for all decks, ramps and stairs. This superior grit-coat deck surfacing not only ensures all weather safe operation but also provides a water resistant deck over the existing ground floor parking - a real must in retail and public use applications.

The innovative rubber seal between the modules also creates lane and bay markings. Additional markings to show directions of traffic flow or restricted areas can also be applied.

Full managed rainwater systems are optionally available.

PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY TopDeck meets all the relevant standards for permanent structures but can also be used as a temporary solution. A TopDeck does not need to be fixed to the ground and will not always require planning permission. The most rigorous design standards and quality control procedures have been applied to give TopDeck the flexibility to meet the demands of both the long and short term sectors of the market.

TopDeckTM is no exception. It has been fully independently tested and meets all the necessary requirements of Building Regulations, BS6399, BS5950, BS6651, BS6180 and BS EN 1993-1-2

Top Deck Parking offer a Survey / Design & consultancy service which include the following:

TopDeck Parking also carry out liaison as necessary with local Building Control Officers, Health & Safety Executive and officials from the Department of Communities and Local Government.

Following installation a maintenance service is provided which includes inspection of all supports and surfaces with adjustments as required.
